How to Prepare Relatives for Rehab
Drugs make kids crazy. The entire lifestyle is set up to affirm the delusion the drugs create. Rock groups are being sponsored by drug mafias who think up a world of profound imagery and entertainment to sell the product. These are sales pitches that are designed to stick in your child’s head and remind them of their favorite drug every time they think of it. Drugs often make music and entertainment seem larger than life. The otherwise dull overproduced pop songs become exciting and vivid with colors when your child is amped up on drugs.
The amount of money that is spent to create this lifestyle and to make the users comfortable and complicit with it, makes it difficult to pull your child out of the hypnotization of the media. The entire hormonal and socio-economic state of the teenage years is expressed by these rock groups. They are there to offer your child that rebellious solitude they are seeking. They want to be free and not just another brick in the wall cookie cutter person. They see these rock stars and other drug addicts making lots of money and getting lots of women in the fast lane lifestyle and are attracted like flies on glue.
The important thing to do is not to be a hypocrite. Don’t lecture your child with an inferiority complex that they are not living up to your standards. This is immediately met with resistance and disgust from the programming of freedom and egotism that their musical icons and bad friends teach them. Instead, you have to come to grips with the fact that he is brainwashed with drug commercials and is surrounded by people who want to spread ugly rumors about him to keep him trapped in that dead-end drug addict lifestyle. Assure him that you will give him support as he cleans up and that you won’t let these thugs drag him back into their suicide trap.
